Not even close.

Have a nice swim, Cherry!

Half way across? Pretty good for a first try. That may actually be enough to make it across using the rocks as stepping stones.

She got the right idea though. At least one of the ideas. The rocks seem to pointy to jump on?

Methinks she might be one of those skilled and enthusiastic characters which die tragically later on in a fight.

And I thought cherries floated.

I thought she'd have done something involving her bubblegum.

14934: -skimmer- - Tuesday, November 21 2017 - 3:51 AM

...she could have checked how far she can jump on land :/

14935: Whispers of Sorrow - Tuesday, November 21 2017 - 7:45 AM

I actually really like Cherry. And I like the way that she just worked out how to spirit run and jump in the short seconds they were considering their existing skills. She's smart and has talent. She'll go far, if she can stay alive.

@Daran no that's the point of having the 'grizzled Doesn't give a fuck' Drill Sargent who will sacrifice his life so the Main character(or one of their buddies) can survive (and save the world from this week's new badguy) leading to the heartbreaking moment where the Main character is holding the dead Sarge and screams "NOOOOOOO" into the sky as he vows to get revenge.
@-Skimmer- yeah she should have triple jumped she could have easily made it then

Ways I can see:

1: Knock down / move (possibly with cards if that's not completely frowned upon) a tree into a position where it enables you to cross the river without touching the water.
2: Dig under the river. Uncertain depth, close to ocean, likely fairly deep at this point, but not impossible it's shallow. Likely too slow for this sort of test.
3: Jump across the river, using rocks.
4: Dam the river. Same issue as 2.
5: Walk through the river with a shield sufficient to block the flow (Unlikely to function given previously mentioned water blocking magic issues)

Just chop off a tree and use it as a raft :P. I don't see the problem.

14939: random - Tuesday, November 21 2017 - 3:23 PM

I don't think they'd get points for solving the problem without using magic, ie building a raft.

However, the tree is a good idea. It is fairly near to the river and it's certainly big. And since it's an organic material, it's not rigid.

They could use it as a catapult, or a sling shot. Or they could forcefully jump at it, and gaining momentum with the rebound.

Just a daily reminder to go to page 773 and read Neo's comment about the ocean.

This is not One Piece. Water does not mysteriously stop magical powers.

So they are allowed to wear anything instead of their uniforms, and Noah chooses what? A straitjacket.

Everyone who's interested, Zed meant the comment on page 772. Here: http://neorice.com/hoh_772#comments

...Cherry's jacket looks like it has a sideways three... Three is the number of sides on a triangle... Triangles can't talk to humans, just like 3... 3 is like an eldritch horror from something like Half-Life (Half-Life 3 confirmed)... Aperture Laboratories feels kinda like the Smile Foundation... The Smile Foundation logo has one eye open, just like the all-seeing eye in the pyramid... ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED
