Ugh... I'm so conflicted about Veda here... Maybe I'm just easily manipulated :/

Here's hoping Noah has a little aside with Felix so they can save each other from death, because I like Felix. I've met a lot of people like Felix, and they were always there when I needed them, and so would Felix. Don't kill him plz D:

If I would hear this I would set up emergency training with all team members, especially on masking. Train or die ... literally.
Noah should literally let the others know. Also Garth should be honest with this now.

Garth wanting to give Felix originally only 1 point despite knowing this? I do not know who is good or bad anymore. What happened to everything being either black or white? Damn you and your story telling and character depth, Neo :P

So she knew what she was doing when she gave him points. She figures they'll prove themselves on the mission or die trying. Either the Empire would want to keep them or they'd be spared the trouble. This is going to backfire on them somehow.

Does Garth know all this? How well-informed is everyone?

15086: anon - Friday, December 1 2017 - 6:04 AM

Well. I was disappointed in the undermining of Garth's lesson, but this does seem to be a good reason for it.

We still don't know how they got their powers in the first place.

Having someone executed and setting them up to be executed, don't know what distinction you're trying to make, or what difference you think it makes to those kids, Veda.

Professors Snape, Quirrel, Umbridge and Lupin in one.

Garth probably knew the basics but thought he'd have months to train, then they would go on to train with others for a couple years.

I think that Veda is the big manipulator there. Noah is probably a bit too distressed to notice it at the moment, but the amount of resources spent on these guys by "investors" (clear from the introduction show, and later acknowledged by Garth) would suggest that they will have more than two or three weeks to prove themselves...

Also, numbers thrown by Veda (fifty points, one week) are arbitrary, though maybe really set before. They can't know which parameters are the best, since it's an experimental project. So I think Noah isn't really in such danger as he is led to believe, and Veda is using psychological tricks to achieve her goal.

Uh oh. Despite all his efforts to go unnoticed, he gets a private meeting with Veda. She also gave him a lot of information... What could she want with him specifically?

15093: mikato1 - Friday, December 1 2017 - 10:24 PM

Vedar says the Force is strong in this one. a pity he has yet to show any dedication to his training...
is this the part where Noah starts head-snooping? if nothing else, Ciel seems to be his repressed sense of snark, giving the words that he bites back behind a bored face. we need more Ciel.
