So were the laing the tracks as the were driving the train, cartoon-style? Doesn‘t seem like the most practical vehicle to explore lost continents.

The Lost Continent? Sounds like something I'd like to learn about!

Think that's where the elves are coming from?

17935: Saiko - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 12:28 AM

I don't see any dino scratches... Why was it so dangerous?

Is this... Hogwarts Express?

17937: Whispers of Sorrow - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 1:00 AM

Well at least he didn't have to queue to get in.

17938: Marco - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 1:16 AM

i hate noah.
this arc is so slow and uninteresting, especially compared to the other two.

17939: OverBern - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 2:35 AM

what do we know about the lost continent? any indication it's Rauel?
because frame 1 indicates:
lost continent has rails (from before it was lost)
or
train doesn't need rails
or
there was a time when the lost continent was both lost and safe, so they could put down rails as they went and nothing would damage the rails to ambush them (effectively)

17940: Bisected - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 3:24 AM

Well, they can't have been that lost if there were train tracks going in to them.

A train into the Lost Continent ?
So there are railways in the Lost Continent ?

17944: Guest - Wednesday, July 25 2018 - 6:39 PM

It is a magical train of magical adventure!
It runs on Magic!
They threw all the magical kids into the furnace to keep it supplied with magic!
It's magical!

17945: Unkown - Thursday, July 26 2018 - 12:13 PM

What could be more fun and interesting to listen to than an old story about a gigantic train when you are on a magic mission :)

17946: winger - Thursday, July 26 2018 - 2:50 PM

why do people keep thinking the train actully went in to the lost continent hello guys it likely just dropped them off near it and then went back

17947: Whispers of Sorrow - Thursday, July 26 2018 - 11:25 PM

@re_cur: Well perhaps the train can operate off the tracks? Some of the earliest experiments with armoured vehicles involved armoured land trains, armoured traction engines that would tow armoured wagons.

Some were even sent off to war by the British Government, but sadly they were stripped of their armour upon arrival in theatre by short sighted w*nkers who wanted to armour rail trains instead (which were derailed in battle naturally).

If not for those w*nkers we could have had reliable armoured vehicles in service before the start of WWI. :(

@Marco: Blasphemy.

I suppose I should have included a link or two in my last post:
http://tank100.com/towards-the-tank/early-experiments-part-i/
http://www.landships.info/landships/tank_articles/fowler_B5.html

Also I digressed, my point was that while this thing obviously can operate on tracks, that doesn't necessarily preclude another mode of operation, like that flying train in Back to the Future III for example.
