A deal's a deal.

Alleged* villain, Burk.

Both yesterday and today's pages, Pablo says "Piper" instead of Sabrina. I thought the first time was a mistake, but now it can't be a coincidence, and this might come back to bite.

I think even without the deal they'd leave our heros alone. After seeing Goldman getting floored with one hit, they are likely scared witless of him and his friends.

If Pablo gave her a pipe instrument instead of some string instrument, letting her real name slip wouldn't be so conspicuous.

@Zed
That's because their cover has been blown and there's no sense in calling her Sabrina anymore.

@TheMegax I don't think this counts as 'cover blown' for Piper, specifically. Pablo has been slipping up a lot in general, but basically, no one knows - Knew, at least - Who Burk was. And Pablo has every reason to be where he is. Piper is the one who needs to stay under cover, and nothing about Burk beating Goldman reveals who she is.

Pablo's slip-of-the-tongues, on the other hand... I would not be surprised if those are noticed.

@TheMegax Pablo's cover has been blown. Burk's 'cover' is about to be blown as people investigate. No one has made Piper for who she is, though. No reason to be spouting it around. Hopefully no one overhears or makes a connection.

@TheMegax
They're cover hasn't been blown yet. Not exactly Goldman only knows they are more than they claim. He doesn't know they're purpose, nor does he know who any of them are (aside from Burk's name) It's still very important for Piper to not be known. Goldman only thinks they are here investigating him for some minor thing. Revealing Piper could potentially reveal that the scope of their purpose is much bigger.

Everybody that knows anything at all about Burk & crew has the wrong information about them: That they are working for a very high up, and very secretive, faction of Heroland Corp.

Which is wrong, and the fact that everybody thinks this is very convenient for Pablo. For him to reveal that they're not Heroland, but are instead indirectly working for the Wizard King could set off a huge political uproar. Piper's identity is their biggest secret, honestly.

@Lord_Incaros They were already scared enough of Pablo's diplomatic standing. I daresay every member of Pablo's group is capable of singlehandedly getting Goldman's group to shove off (albeit at the cost of their cover).
