I suppose the Yuletide celebrations were about as good as they could be with the world being as broken as it currently is. That's to say: No guests, no presents, nothing extra. Just me, my mother dearest and some Christmas food. At least things were peaceful and quiet.

@Taran Alvein the ability to see Ciel outside of a mind world or reflective surface is not included in his power, noah can see ciel normally otherwise because of the spirit sight he trained, which does not require disembodiment to function. Note the glowing green eyes.

My xmax was great, certainly better than whatever these kids can expect from their holiday season.
