Please, not on the carpet.

Acid Reflux fucking smarts, honestly.

Good I hope those secret police agents get what's coming to them

Whelp! that looks like the end for #2 Gotta say I'm disappointed in the JSP. I knew they were bad as that just comes with being "secret police" but they seemed at least somewhat competent and even willing to work with the magic users and were even impressed with Noah's abilities (both perceived and actual) but Number 1's attitude seems to have changed dramatically in this past week. Either not being able to just kill people that upset him is really getting to him, or he's been replaced. Sadly, I fear it's the former as this is exactly what Nail predicted earlier when he mentioned their hard headedness. The JSP will jeopardize the mission rather than except that they need outside help. It must have really burned their pride when they had to turn to Malhart the first time.

as advertised in the cover of this chapter... gross indeed.

Yes, aimed right when barfing! Thank you! - This was intentional and will not cause any collateral damage, will it?

30388: Tom - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 4:22 AM

Thank you, nightmare worms!

Looking back, the guy that sprouted the worms DID say he was going to throw up...

30389: UnknownID - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 4:36 AM

Woah! Looks like the end of #2. Would have bet #1 dies earlier, but yeah, that happens when you stand close to an unbreaking worm monster. Hope the others are okay... At least they are still standing on their feet... o.o

Hah! I knew it, Mr. I Don't Feel So Good.

30391: Kingdedede11 - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 6:31 AM

Wrong one, but better than none! Go get the other JSP numbskull next!

Brain worms vs. Brain Worms

well
he didn't speak
so i guess he can't be shot yet

30394: Cluedrew - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 7:57 AM

Pretty sure this disqualifies the JSP as being replaced by nightmares. It seemed unlikely but possible up until this point.

I'm going to go with the other theory that the JSP are terrible people trying to reassert dominance after being scared out of their wits. (Not that it is hard to get something outside of their wits.)

30395: TaranAlvein - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 9:19 AM

Well, goodbye, voice of reason... Such as he was.

Fear the parasite

30397: Orange - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 11:16 AM

Having a bout of acid reflux myself just now and can confirm it feels just like that

30398: Aston Whiteman - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 11:39 AM

Every single one in the hideout has been infected by a nightmare creature. What fun...

30399: Tomtomy - Sunday, February 27 2022 - 4:01 PM

Something tells me that while the nightmares are out of Chernyl's direct control, if brutal murder is a solution to stop one of Chernyl's friends from dying, the nightmares are more than happy to please their creator.

30412: Brilliand - Monday, February 28 2022 - 7:57 PM

@Tomtony You give these nightmares too much credit. As Noel pointed out last page, the nightmares are *never* under Chernyl's direct control. They are Chernyl's nightmares, presumably just as interested in horrifying their creator as they are in horrifying anyone else.
