That only works on people with notable spirit of their own right? Only super observation masters like Malheart can detect the nearly spiritless, and even he could be fooled.
Or maybe I'm mixing up my spirit techniques here.

Paintr: The technique they practiced in Justopea's bunker class, was called Spirit Sight or something.
The name Vital Detection suggests that it's heartbeats or something similar.

This is a similar to the ability Malhart used to detect all the royal guards. Who are non-magical humans. Nothing to do with detecting spirt.
