Curious what exactly is referred to here with "mainland". Could merely be referring to the larger landmass near where the island they are currently on, but give that Artemius took roughly a year to get there and lost their home to what is presumably a pickup in the purge, feels like there is reason to believe that Artemius refers to a different place. Perhaps the region that the Global Order now rules the most of? Or it might be what is now called "The lost continent"? A shame there is no maps for that region as far as I know.
Also given we know that knowledge of how to make black crystal likely did not spread much if at all beyond what is now the territory of the Global Order, I think it is presumable that this Kragmoria one sat where the GO is now. Which makes me wonder if Lorg then was a part of the kingdom or not. Given the disparity between the building styles seen so far for the places seen in Held's story and the style of buildings seen in Lorg, I have to wonder if lorg was once a part of a more powerful entity that has since fallen, as I have my doubts that a place like Lorg could just get all that just as it is, far too much of a lawless mess methinks.
