A guess: The temple will transport mana stones back to their reality, thus trapping them in this alternate reality. They will eventually use their own spirit to return.
Zelmeyer won't help them because once he enters the temple, he will find everything in place but the kids, so he won't even think to look for them "on the other side", not knowing there is another side in the first place.

So they are originally from Earth?!This opens up a whole host of questions around their relation to us. Is theirs an alternate Earth, or is it it just far removed from us in time? Do they just need to kick the right rock, the right way, in the right place and they'll find themselves on our Earth? If any of that is true for them, is it also true for the other arcs?

Not only that, all the way back in comic 607, Cherry called Noah "Asian" and Neorice followed up with "I am quite intentional in what type of language references I keep in & which ones I explicitly avoid mentioning."
So yeah, they're from Earth. One of the continents is dark, one is lost, and one is Asia. Beyond that... who knows?
