Held's dad never said that he hates Valiant, though? The only thing he said about him is that he never met him and that he's "arguably the reason I'm in Vallance to begin with" (page 3475)
And on page 3727, he states that he did in fact hate Zelmeyer and cut off all contact after learning of the events.
