I wonder who invented that "Heropod." Anything capable of rendering a fall completely survivable without any apparent braking (by parachute or rocket thrust or whatever) is pretty good engineering, and possibly literally magical.

Are they just straight up dropping them down bomb-style? Because if that pod is actually big enough to contain multiple heroes, and actually doesn't have any braking mechanism, AND is armoured enough to survive a crash, pretty much any building it lands on is going to be totalled. Even those modern towers Eddstadt has will easily lose several floors on being hit by that.
Dolk and co. seemed pretty high up in their building... It would be hilarious if they all just got crushed by a hero pod right now.
Honestly, just giving every individual hero a bog standard parachute seems like a much easier and more practical deployment method. Hell, quite a few of them probably have powers that'd allow them to just jump off and survive unassisted.

Actually hell, it just occured to me. Every hero can use spirit, and, according to Noel, featherfall is a fairly basic spirit technique. Just make sure that everyone on board knows that and you don't even need parachutes.
